Aw that for that! As your granny would say.

An 18 hour round trip on a bus for a 30 second interview, one question and a stamp of approval.

Everything got real very quickly and the realization of what has to come finally hit.

We high fived, hugged and got the hell out of there before they could change their minds.

We had a lovely day in London to celebrate .. including a walk to Trafalgar Square and a visit to the art Gallery (the work of Monet and Souter were our favorites, among others who we have forgotten the names of).

This was followed by a march up to Leicester Square, we planned to go to the cinema but opted for cocktails instead (there was a conspicuous woman communicating with men via some unknown written statement).

We then walked in the cold and dark down Piccadilly to meet a few friends, who have all ended up in London, for a spot of dinner.

More drinks were had and a quick dash for the bus home was required.
