Another bar another coffee

I love Spanish bars. My favourite Spanish bars are the ones full of locals, chatting, laughing and playing cards and dominoes. I love the way they just set the tables up on the street. Where else would that happen? Certainly not anywhere i can think of in the UK. Also i love the way that it's normal and accepted to go in, even on your own and just order a coffee.

Most of the time in the UK i wouldn't even dream of going into a bar on my own. Maybe it's my age - in my younger day it was rather frowned upon to venture into a pub on your own - you would gain a certain reputation...
