CAKE!

This is the cake I bought to celebrate.
Indigestion part one: eating breakfast when I discovered that I passed had my exam and therefore my final Open University module. That rather stunned me all morning but in a good way, of course.
Indigestion part two: scoffing lunch when I learnt, a lot sooner than I was expecting, that I had achieved an overall First Class Honours Degree! Cue, a few unrepeatable words and some unexpected tears when I called my mum and dad to tell them, causing my mum to panic until she could actually make out what I was saying! I guess it meant more to me than I was trying to pretend it did.
My achievements in life recently have been all about surviving single parenthood and everything else life can throw it me whilst it's at it. This achievement is something a bit special.
Hopefully I will soon be blipping the celebratory glass of fizz to go with the cake!
