Glowing leaves

I have no idea which trees these are that I look out upon from the kitchen window at the house but their leaves looked like they were glowing during the only rather short sunny spell that we had today.

Although I like this shot very much, it is not what I thought I was going to blip today. In between several trips to the apartment to take some more of our things there, I'd intended to go to the sanctuary this afternoon to walk one of their dogs and hoped to find a possible entry at the park. Unfortunately the hot water and the heating at the apartment were not working and I had to stay there for a while as someone was coming to sort them out. Both of them are now working properly.
