Attached to Each Other

I have waited all summer to catch this pic. I have sat for hours (and got some other nice shots) at the pond near my place. Been stared at, laughed at, questioned, ohhed and ahhed at and mainly just sat there and had a good time but I finally got what I wanted.

THese pair are laying eggs. They stay attached and the female (at the bottom) swings down quickly and makes a deposit.

I think it looks pretty good in large too. YOu can see a lot more detail.
