Still finding Autumn..

I'd cancelled my Nordic walk this morning to go to a dressmaker with my daughter but she'd been poorly all night so we postponed it until next week. Of course I choose that morning to sleep in until 8.15! First time in ages but it meant I was too late to join the walk so took the dogs on an extra long walk instead.
There were cows in two fields which meant long detours though and sheep in one field but the dogs were ok on leads with them so that wasn't a problem. I wonder when the cows will go into their sheds for the winter.. I'd like my old walks back!!
I wore Wellies though so my ankles and knees after a long walk were really aching!
I had to sit down for a wee while..
My daughter still wasn't feeling well and her fiancé had to go to work so I cancelled the afternoon walk too! Mind you, I think it was just as well because my knees were still aching!
Luckily Logan was a happy chap today, even though he has a cold, and he had a long nap so he was no trouble to my poor aged body!!
My son was sick all night too - but they both seem better tonight thankfully! :-)
