The unstoppable march of progress

The ups and downs in the trading price of the barrel of crude oil.
The alarming rise in the price of cigarettes (very alarming that one!)

And O'Loughlin's getting a new coat of paint.

Now, that could have been traumatic.

Except that it is actually a return to the original colour (Brian is chairman of the O'Loughlin historical society). It was painted maroon on three successive occasions. But it is going back to its roots.

Now, one quick glance inside and you realise straight away that fashion and interior design trends are not taken lightly in O'Loughlin.
Following a few rounds of consultation with the regular clientele (Paddy and Brian) and an image consultant with a famous interior design firm in Tokyo, it was decided to revert back to the green-blue facade. Green-blue is the new black.

And it matches Brian's famous blue jumper.
