Supernatural Dartmoor?
As the sun set today, we were on one of Dartmoor's many granite crags, funnily enough not far from a Good Pub Guide recommended pub. With the light and shapes in the image above you can see why the area is crawling with ghost stories.
There is one for Widecombe involving the Devil and today we visited the castle at Berry Pomeroy - great name. It is referred to by some as the most haunted house in the UK. On a fairly dull day in November it wasn't much to get excited about - and it was shut. Perhaps the ghosts only haunt the demesnes when there are more likely to be willing visitors?
Sadly too the aforementioned pub was also shut - no spirits for us today......
