Shopping days

Trying to ignore the coming festive season is never easy these days. The modern fripperies have been in the shops for months. The local eco-vandals have been decorating their homes for nearly as long, doubling their power consumption as soon as they switch on the lights!

Anyway, today it was impossible to not notice, or even be sucked in to, the Christmas dazzle in one of our local shopping collectives.

I looked at the model trains in the craft shop (?) and remembered a time when I would be considering buying them for my children.

I got dizzy with the smell at the Yankee Candle shop.

I bought a frying pan.
