Bright Eyes

So today was the day.

I am guessing that all is ok because of course the doctor didn't actaully tell me anything other than I still don't require any treatment and see you in 12 months.

Would be nice to know what the actual pressures in my eyes are, they are considered high enough to warrant checking but low enough to not need treatment.

But on the other hand thank god I dont need to do drops.

I did struggle with the test as normal today (you would have thought I would have got used to it by now) but I did manage to stay still long enough to let her get the drops in, I then proceeded to screw eyes shut. The comment I got was gosh your eyes are sensitive (no s#@! sherlock). Then I really really really tried to stay still for the tonometry test (and yes its worse than the puff of air version they do at the opticians) and I get told to sit still I wont feel a thing. Well yes you dont feel it but its hard to not flinch back as something is heading towards your eye.

Oh well its done for another year, for another year I can see and for another I dont have to worry (well until about a week before the return appointment).

Now its time to start looking forwards to my birthday and my trip to see Hogwarts :)
