Fireplace

The renovation continues. The fireplace that was here was installed sometime between the 1930s and 50s. It was small brown/grey and very unattractive. It was also very damaged. The room is quite big so it looked too small for the room. Obviously all the rage when installed. It is coming out so a new (old) one can be installed. Hopefully it will be a focal point for the room. You can see where the original fireplace has been and how much smaller the replacement was. The carpet was supposed to come today- obviously we were not ready so I had to rearrange.
