Gannet Teenagers
Today is my 50th blip :-)
These are rescued Gannet Teenagers! They are rescued by a family who run a tourist boat out to Bass Rock. These are birds which have fallen out of their nests and are picked up and looked after in the family's back garden until they have recovered and can be released back into the wild.
Gannets are one of my favourite birds. The adults are stunning to look at and magnificent to watch as they dive into the sea.
