Cheeeeese!

Eva woke twice in the night, but it was ok, as the last time was 2am, then she slept through til nearly 8.30 am again, so managed to get a 6 hour stint in 1 go.

Babba didn't get a great afternoon nap though :-( I'd just put her down and next door had a gardener come round and he was using a petrol engine device doing something gardeny which woke Eva right up! I went out the front to see what he was doing, and asked him how long he was going to be, as my baby girl was trying to sleep, to which he apologised and turned it off, bless him. She eventually nodded off after about an hour and had about an hour and a half.

We went round my moms when she woke up at about 2.30. I took some of her books (she's loving her books) and took her little mirror, her plastic smurf, a few other bits and a box of raisins. She had a lovely time playing with her toys and eating her raisins there, and seeing her Nanny, Grandad and Uncle Christopher. My bro had her on his lap feeding her the raisins at one point, she was just opening her little mouth letting him pop them in lol.

It was a real rush when I got back, as I was taking 3 cats to the vets for 6.10pm (just for minor things ie weighing for wormers and flea-ers and microchipping Daisy), but Mike doesn't finish work til 6, and I needed to get tea on too (spag bol) and obviously couldn't leave Eva with Jake, but somehow I managed it. Woo hoo! I walked in at 7pm, to see Eva sitting in her highchair, covered in spag bol sauce, and Mike helping her eat wiggly spaghetti. She was having a lovely time!

Mike then fed her 2, yes 2 yoghurts, then took her up for her bath while I ate my tea. The Simply Red Cuba album was played (regulation) and I went up to take Eva for her milk before bed, and was met with huge smiles up on the landing, awwwww. Babba girl was tucked up in bed by about 8.15. She has cried out a couple of times very briefly as I've been sat downstairs, but I've watched her on the camera, and she's gone straight back off to sleep on her own each time, touch wood. Xxxx
