Monday: Parliament

It was a wonderfully sunny morning in London today.  Unfortunately, this was the last I saw of it as I spent the rest of the day in a conference room, not emerging until 7pm this evening.  At least we did have a limitless supply of tea and coffee (and biscuits) to keep us going.  My colleagues and I rounded off the evening with a Thai meal.

It is a pretty packed schedule while I am here and there are always a few bits and pieces I want to pick up while I am home, so after the meal, I stopped off en route to my hotel and managed to purchase some salad cream.......just the thing to buy at 10pm in the evening.......

The internet in the hotel is shockingly bad - it keeps dropping in and out like crazy.  I might just about be able to post but I am afraid that will probably be as much as I can manage......
