Frozen Top
After Jessica and I had been shopping today we nipped into the James Hamilton Heritage Park. We timed it right as there were lots of people feeding the swans and ducks.
I had lots of pictures to choose from and I had thought that I wouldn't get to do the challenge today however the description of Patina that I found is as follows:
1
n pl -nas
1. (Engineering / Metallurgy) a film of oxide formed on the surface of a metal, esp the green oxidation of bronze or copper See also verdigris [1]
2. any fine layer on a surface a patina of frost
3. the sheen on a surface that is caused by much handling
The top of the loch was frozen as you can see just in front of the Swan's beak.
