Autumn in a vase

The flowers that beloved gave to me are all a fabulous shade of orange, except for the red amaryllis that is, and are a beautiful splash of colour at this time of year.

I've spent the day sewing although I wish that I'd stopped a couple of hours earlier as it went somewhat pear shaped at the end. I'll have to blip the outcome tomorrow as the light's not good and the red is coming out a sickly shade of pink.
