Fundació Joan Miró (1975)

Our weekend in Barcelona started with a walk up Montjuic to the Miro Foundation followed by a short ride on the Telepherique to the Castell. The sun setting over the city provided a good orientation for our weekend ahead.

Afterwards we walked back down via the Olympic Stadium and museum.

The picture shows the unusual roof openings to cast sunlight into the art gallery below via mirrors. Unfortunately the openings are now permanently closed due to 'advances' in exhibit lighting techniques.
