Devon - land of the twee?
Less that half a mile from our current abode is this group of cottages - indeed they were part of the estate until it was broken up last century. Turn a corner here on the edge of Dartmoor and there is always something different to see. it is not the natural scenery that catches the eye but more our efforts to impinge upon that raw material nature has put in place.
I imagine these farm workers' cottages have now become very desirable bijou residences. Sitting in their natural setting they have become a part of the place rather than an addition.
