A solitary seagull floats ahead of a bank of haar that threatens to blot out the sun tomorrow? A couple stand at the shoreline - much more sensibly than the two mad Monday morning dookers I saw emerging from the water as I ran at dawn today! It was -5 in the air and no doubt they would claim the sea was at least three times that temperature : I did not stop to ask as they looked too cold to speak, let alone think!
