Lady Finch

Today was an art group day, In this group we just all do our own thing, but occasionally we pay for a tutor or someone to demonstrate their skill.
After lunch FOLOH and I decided to go for a walk through Brahan Woods in Maryburgh, so he put Millie in the car and I fetched the camera, but no battery so I looked for the pocket camera and the same thing, then FOLOH got his from his drawer and it was exactly the same dead battery.
We had a pleasant walk and when we returned to the car the sun was just setting. and I thought about asking him to drive faster but decided against that idea, so of course I had to rely on the faithful birds.
Here is a female chaffinch (I think) , she is much plainer than the male, sharing the feeder with a friendly blue tit.
