An uneventful day
It's nice to have an uneventful day occasionally!
Our farm manager came back from holiday and decided that Cecilia is big and strong enough to go straight from 2 litres of milk a day to 3 litres a day - big sighs of relief all round :-))
Monday is farm paperwork day. Today we are reclaiming the money we spent removing concrete bollards from around the Iron Age burial mounds on the Downs. The bollards were probably put there during the Second World War to protect the mounds during artillery practice when the Army requisitioned the land for military training. But English Heritage has decided that they are an eye sore and is giving grants for their removal. Our cows will miss them as they were great scratching posts!
