Leighton Moss RSPB Reserve

On our way home we visited Leighton Moss RSPB Reserve. There was little hope of me catching a bird shot. So I thought this one of the reeds and this single tree summed up what the place is all about.

But we did see quite a few birdies too - even a marsh harrier which sent the duck scattering!

Other birds included herons, little egrets, teal, widgeon, pochards, snipe, one goldeneye and even a deer!
