Stonehenge Starlings.

The biggest change to visiting the Stones since Basil Chubb gave it to the nation in 1918 will start on 18th December. EH`s visitor centre opens. Pre booking required, timed `slots`,no more drive byes.

But what about the starling flock that hang around the present green cabins (the "national disgrace in 1992"). For them it will be no more crumbs,bits of pasties,crisps,over priced carrot cake or ice cream cones. Maybe no more Blip opportunities for them like this one. So this will have to be my tribute to them for keeping us amused for many years beside the pre historic monument. Wishing them all the best in their redundancy.
