Flying over Oz

Our journey to Oz started with a 4am get up in Agra on the 23rd of November followed by a rickety train ride to New Delhi.

A long wait then was had in the 'lounge' in Delhi airport because they wouldn't actually let us in the airport itself. We got talking to an Australian girl travelling alone and this provided us all with hours of banter, travel chats and general chit chat. Once in the departure hall we had a 2 hour wait for check In... Cue buffoonery playing hide and seek and pretending to be an auto rickshaw with the trolley! I nearly came a cropper by almost heading into a group of security personnel... A little banter with one who smiled and said 'brakes'

Once through the 'other' side we had a few hours to wait till our flight departed... So we had a dominos pizza! I still feel that was quite a surreal meal... Dominos pizza in Delhi...

We arrived in Kuala Lumper early Sunday and had only a couple of hours before our onward flight to Sydney.

By he time we reached Sydney at 8.30pm and had got to our hotel we had been up for about 36 hours and were desperate for a shower... It has to be said after one train journey, some waiting around and 2 flights we were less than sociable on the odour front! The shower and to finally be clean was bliss!

As you can see we were in sight of Adelaide at this point... Can't wait till Friday to be with the family!
