Frosty morning

As I was washing the dishes I noticed a blackbird taking some of the red berries that are left in the garden. This prompted me to put out some "fat balls" for the smaller birds and as I made my way in I noticed this beautiful web that had been coated in frost.

They are so ethereal, although I believe the threads can be as strong as steel, that I had to get a shot of it. I also see that the fox has been busy bringing loot back into the garden including a plastic chicken. Surely he did not believe it was the real thing!
