" THROUGH THE GLASS DARKLY "-Annie Lennox
We have had an amazing time away this weekend in Falmouth and I thank my faithfull blippers for being a part of my experience.
I will try and put some of the extra photos on Flickr for anyone who is interested. under Suske1@btinternet.com (Sue Penn)
Today on the drive back, we had been given complimentary tickets to drop into a very large Antiques event, being held just outside Exeter, at a place called Westpoint where they also hold the Devon County Show.
Whilst there, they were filming Bargain Hunt where two teams, (red and blue) have to buy items for sale etc. So Tim Wonnacott was roaming around and the cameras were filming just behind the stall this blip was taken from. It will be shown in about 6 months time, so who knows'...........
If you zoom in closer you can see the artists names on these fantastic pieces.
We collect glass, but sadly these were out of our price bracket. But I did buy a new unusual ring. There was a stand selling amazing real fur coats but they were well out of my range as well. I'll stick to my artificial Astraka coat, beauty without cruelty.
So tomorrow Mr A will return to work and I will have another day off as I have to attend a review on Adrian. A representative from Hampshire Social Services will want to see where there money goes and for what!!
Sorry I have been unable to comment on your blips. The internet connection was so dire in the hotel, we were having to go out just to find a good connection. I'm sure you will understand, but I will try to catch up.
Hope you have all enjoyed a kind weekend and are now ready to take on the world again?!! Well maybe not but hopefully the next week's challenges.
Until we 'meet' again, sending blessings to you all. xFalmouth photos.
