Product II

A busy wee day that kicked off with a trip to a friend's to collect a huge pile of apples. Two very productive trees each with more to give so I guess I'll be heading back next week to get more but not before Ewan's invented the Apple Tree Shakeinator so that we can finished the job.

After that it was a jaunt into Edinburgh - Ewan still has birthday money burning a hole in his pocket and that's had pocket money and his earnings from apple collecting from a neighbour's garden (totally legit) added to it. So, Toysaurus, HobbyCraft, HMV and Argos until it was spent. But that let me pop into the office to collect my bike, which was abandoned there on Thursday.

After this bout of apple pressing the issue of bottles is going to get pressing. There's about 120kg of apples sitting in the garden, which will probably yield about 80litres of juice. And then there's next week's. Erk.
