the sound of silence

Today my voice totally gave in after a few days of fading out. I went to the doctors for antibiotics and thankfully Eve slept for a fair bit of the afternoon so that I could feel sorry for myself in the traditional style. When Lydia and Emma turned up to borrow a cake tin, Lyds was most confused by my lack of chatter. She thankfully entertained Eve for a while with this old red nose.
