Willy & the Poor Boys...

Willy Finlayson narrowly avoided success when playing on the pub rock circuit with Bees Make Honey in the early '70s.
The Bees were booed by T.Rex fans when they supported the glam heroes at Brixton Academy, & dropped by EMI before their second album was released.
While his contemporaries, like Nick Lowe & Ian Dury, went on to chart stardom, Willy was left as something of a poor relation.
He still sounded good in the local boozer today though!
