park life, again

day off and a nice day too - tho def autumn now, distinctly chill. did some shopping-on-the-offchance, which led, as it so often does, to getting several things i wasn't looking for but need (posh new gloves - it's about time i looked like a grown up - plus black fuzzy pjs, and a big pile of bulbs for the garden elsewhere). i did manage to get most of the stuff on the list, too, including a dash into john lewis haberdashery at 5.55pm. then congratulated myself on a good day by popping into hmv and buying 'roadhouse'. so a slightly delayed RIP patrick swayze memorial dvd watching - i'd never seen it, but N raves about it. it's pure cheese, but he gets his shirt off a lot :-) kinda like 'dirty dancing' is for the laydeez, i guess 'road house' could kinda be for the boys. also a quick chat with N after first edition - grimness of work indeed, but the lighter note was much lighter; hope to keep you to your promise of actually taking a break and coming to hang out over coffee after edition, like in the old days! you owe me after all those cups of tea and trips to starbucks :-)
