And Then There Is Orange

Not only do we have lots of beautiful blue blooms around at the moment but there are also a few bright orange blossoms appearing too!

This one is a succulent called Echeveria that I've had for a long time which is utterly boring for the whole year except for now when it's covered with these magnificent orange and yellow flowers, really quite stunning!

I've also been searching for a very special beautiful tree that blooms at this time of year locally called a Christmas Tree (Nuytsia floribunda). Its blossoms are a very bright orange and are quite awesomely beautiful! It only grows in Western Australia and is a haven for bees and birds.
