Early morning sunshine

The valley below us completely obliterated by mist as the sun burns through and lights our hilltop.

We were awake much of the night by the ten new young steers we bought at market yesterday who were bawling.

The soup I made yesterday has been vastly improved with the addition of stilton cheese!

Lovely surprise in the post, a book written by a South African cousin about John a Shangaan who worked for their family for 53 years and how her mother and he supported each other throughout some difficult times. I was very fortunate to have met him when working in that country over 40 years ago!
