blind tasting bubbles

Myatts Field, one of our very cool local vineyards, has a wine club called Left Field and every month they organise an event which always includes tasting the grape...yeah!

This was the last one of the year and with Christmas in mind, it was bubbles.
Seven different bubbles wrapped in red tissue, a sheet to record observations and the added incentive of a prize to pick the Vintage French.

40% selected the $60 Lanson 2002 as the vintage and the next at 30% was...the $8 Jacob's Creek Chardonnay Pinot Noir!
