Weird weather

Settled down to watch the cricket on TV today until rain stopped play for a second time, so I went outside for a stroll.

There were about 30 or so cockatoos making an almighty racket while roosting in one of the hoop pine trees on the neighbour's property, so I went to the fence line to check what was going on.

The light was almost surreal. There is so much atmospheric tumult at the moment. Never known the likes of it at this time of year.
