The Doctor and the Neon Ladies

Went into York tonight with my brother in law and my boys to see the 50th Annniversary special of Doctor Who in 3D. We were not dissapointed - a fabulous show, made all the more special by the comedy intros done especially for cinema audiences (Never had a Sontaran tell me to keep my communications device on silent before!)

There were a few folk in costume including the fellow in the foreground complete with Fez, tweed jacket and bow tie.

What took my atttention though were the Neon Ladies out in the street. One of the delights of York on a Saturday night is there is usually no shortage of Hen nights. Don't think I've seen any quite this bright in a while though!
