Plan B

I went out this morning to try to catch a photo of a very rare gull that has taken to nesting in the Ashburton riverbed not far from the main SH1 bridge but only to arrive a couple of minutes to late for the sun to be too bright to photograph them decently. So I spotted this brightly coloured plant hidden in the shade as I walked back to the car.
