San Jose Children's Discovery Museum

I was driving by the odd shaped, purple building and saw the sky behind, so I stopped and took a quick snap. This is a great hands-on place for kids of all ages. I interned there many years ago. In order to get all the funding for the building, they offered to convince the city to name the street along side "Woz Way." This provided an impetus for Steve Wozniak (Apple Computer Founder), to provide a million dollars to help finish the project. The museum won the national museum and library services award in 2001 and has been the recipient of many honors.
