Clematis tangutika

A bit of an emergency blip this one - despite it being a radiant, blue-skied autumn day there was little opportunity to get a photo until I spotted the setting sun illuminating a clematis in the garden. In the summer this plant is covered by bell-like yellow flowers that turn into these seed-pods. Although we're nearly in December there are still a few left
