New Game...

We invented a new game today. Bethany Tennis....or Ewan Tennis depending on who's the ball. On the flying fox down in the park. I take the bottom end and someone shorter takes the top end. One person sits on the flying fox and is then thrown back and forth from top to bottom. Not much in the way of rules, but it did keep us amused for a wee while.

YYYYyaaaaaaayyyy, the skatepark is all but finished. There's a couple of joints that need filled in but it has been opened and this is the first time I've gotten to see it in the daylight and it was even dry. We were here fairly early but it still had a fair few kids using it already. Went back later and it was absolutely heaving which is a very encouraging sign. We wet back later to try out the 5 a side football and basket ball pitch/court that's been installed as part of the same development. Made me want to get a proper basketball.
