Lamplighter

Had lunch in Todmorden, which took a good 2 hours so missed most of the beautiful sunshine around today. Strolling round afterwards noticed preparations for the Lamplighter Festival parade, setting off after the Christmas lights switch on. Looks as if it will be/was quite spectacular with afew of these weird things parading around.

My cold has developed nicely and I'm now settling down with tissues and nasal spray to wait for Dr Who on the tellybox - it better be good as it has been promoted to death and there have been few non-Dr Who related programmes on this week (watching Pointless Dr Who Special at the moment).
