Redshank on North Berwick Beach

We took a break from dad duties today and drove the long route via Haddington and Drem to North Berwick. The deck of the Seabird Centre was busy but despite the blue skies it was barely above freezing, so we stayed inside.

Home via Nonna's Kitchen to pay the deposit on our Hogmanay dinner :)

The redshank was moving fast and was well camouflaged but I manage a couple of half-decent shots. Not bad for a hand-held compact I reckon.
