Dhow Festival

First time today seeing Katara Cultural Village in the daylight. Lots of good photo ops in and around the amphitheatre :)

Today was the traditional Dhow boat festival so there were lots of boats out in the bay from various countries in the middle east. Although most of them were seemingly constructed within the past 5 years.

Tonight we headed up to the Pearl where one of my colleagues (who's wife is Filipino) was hosting a fundraiser event for the people affected by the recent typhoon. Homemade Filipino food, beer (!) and all for a good cause :)
