Clear and Bright

After last night's expedition to the Christmas markets of Edinburgh I woke up to a stunning clear and bright morning. Ideal for the rugby this evening and so rather than doing the iPhone shot from the upper tiers of Murrayfield I thought I'd make the most of the gorgeous weather and head down to the bridges and capture the stillness of the water.

I can't see the new Queensferry Crossing being as beautiful or as iconic as the Forth Rail Bridge. It really is a wonder of Victorian engineering.
