I had hoped to pick out one clear `winner` amongst the entries. Could not do so, not even narrow the works down to a dozen or so. Just so much outstanding pictures,sculpture etc here to view. In the end just used me biro to pick a number.

Titled "A Long Way From Home", this oil painting is by Eve Montgomerie. Judging by her other pictures,she must have spent several months in Afghanistan.

The AAS provides `painting packs` to troops serving overseas,and helps injured service men and women at Tedworth House rehabilitation centre.
