Close Crimson

Undecided about pics today, but I decided to blip my closest/biggest birdie, taken with the Tokina 60-300 on my Pentax, and you can go to Flickr to see my favourite parrot pics from today: one, and two, and three, and four - along with some others. All those king parrot pics were taken with my 50 mm Pentax SMC-manual lens, by the way; they're getting kind of relaxed - this is completely un-cropped.

Wife-of-tsuken is not here; she is off visiting friends, many miles away at Towradgi. Nevertheless, kids and I managed to make a rather good day, I think ... and they agree; I just got a chorus of "YES!" when I asked them. Finished off now with home-made pizza. They will be abed soon, and I will be doing some sweet-tooth-indulgement. And probably some Doctor Who watchingness. In view of speeding that along, I shall wind this up, and go get them off bedding-wise.
