Fall in the park

No1 son was playing v.ball for several hours Thursday so we watched for a while then I took the boys to a nearby park to run around for an hour. It was actually drizzling!! Such a novelty for us :0) and the park looked beautiful with all it's fall colours on.
This park is right beside an elementary school. No1 son went to school here during Kinder & 1st grade so we know it quite well. Often times you can share the playground with groups of kids who come out to play during PE which is fun. Unfortunately, as is often the case in these city parks, it's not the safest place to be unless you're with others. The PE coach from the school, who recognized me and stopped to say Hi, reminded me to be careful and not stay too long as he and the kids were heading back over to the school and I decided to heed his warning and headed out too. Such a shame that we can't enjoy these beautiful places more.
