Interesting talks

Finally work done (at least) for this week! Yes,happy weekend!!

Interesting chat at the room next to the CEO's room (I wasn't talking to the CEO himself).

Our company's history, the mentality of paying out 3500 claims after the A-bomb struck Hiroshima on August 6th, 1945 (compared to 1500 in the March 11, 2011 earthquake) even though the employees themselves were at risk of there own lives.

I understand that Japanese have strong dedication to there local community and they're quite good at respecting and helping others.
I hope our employees can express the same things and to create a mutual understanding with foreigners especially with Asians which I and some others at the planning functions within the company thinks is a key success in the mid-long term of international insurance business.
Also probably shared by the top management as well.

Seems to be a long term project. Who's going to do it? The people who will remain in the company for 30 years (more than likely it happens in Japanese working society).
So is that us?
