Introducing...

The Iron Boot Scrapers, busking live for our pleasure in The Lanes, Brighton.

The snappily dressed gentlemen rockers of yester-year happened upon us as we tackled the weekend, & dare I say it, Christmas shoppers in Brighton. The third member of their set was on a sousaphone out of shot, dressed in barber shop garb & straw hat. They were fantastic & really set us off in a chipper mood after they rocked Song 2 by Blur, Pretty Fly For a White Guy by The Offspring, & Just Dance by Gaga. We kept ourselves fed & watered with snacks all day, which pleased me no end, & all in all we had a really good days shopping. I'm shocked that I can honestly say that. It was fun. We also took the train, which was a doddle & took all the stress out of travelling. I don't want to drive there ever again!

This evening, we kicked back after a days successful Crimbo shopping, had ourselves steak & chips, washed it down with some vino & tuned in for the TV event of the year - The Doctor Who 50 Anniversary special - the Day of the Doctor! It was incredible. A great adventure with comedy & drama. Doctors, Doctors & more Doctors! What a treat for fans.
