Westminster Abbey

Had the privilege of attending a memorial service for C S Lewis today, the 50th anniversary of his death. A plaque to him was unveiled in Poets'' Corner in Westminster Abbey, pictured here from within the cloisters. It was very moving to be part of this, as was seeing the memorial to the First World Poets, which includes the name of Ivor Gurney, who is a distant cousin.
