This Morning

After the stormy weather of the past couple of days this morning was a totally different kettle of fish.

We packed up at Belford after waking up early and headed off home first stopping off at Bamburgh which has one of our favourite beaches.

Then we toddled on north via the borders towns of Kelso, Melrose, Galashiels, Selkirk and lots of wee villages inbetween.

The Borders scenery was beautiful in the crisp winter morning sun and we could make out Edinburgh Village in all it's detail from 16 miles away as we summitted the Pentlands.
